Endodontist Stephen G. Lawson, DMD
Dr. Lawson received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine, D.M.D., from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1992, receiving O.K.U. Honor Society recognition for academic distinction. After graduation, he attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and earned a Certificate in Endodontics in 1994.
Dr. Lawson is an active member in the American Association of Endodontists, New Jersey State Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and Middlesex County Dental Society. Dr. Lawson is a Past-President of the Middlesex County Dental Society.
Dr. Lawson is a member of the Medical/Dental Staff at the JFK Medical Center located in Edison, New Jersey. Dr. Lawson is the Section Head of Endodontics at the JFK Dental Clinic. As an Associate Attending Endodontist, Dr. Lawson instructs the residents on Endodontic theory and practice.
Dr. Lawson was voted by his peers as a Top Dentist in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 , 2013 and 2014 in New Jersey Monthly Magazine. The best 324 Doctors out of more than 6,000 NJ dentists were selected as New Jersey’s Top Dentists.
Dr. Lawson was raised in Clark, New Jersey. Dr. Lawson graduated from Arthur L. Johnson Regional High School in 1984. Dr. Lawson also graduated with Highest Honors with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Rutgers University in 1988. Dr. Lawson currently resides in Garwood, New Jersey.
